"Changing the future... one session at a time!"

ABOUT THE CLUB
We are excited to introduce Swindon's Dream Big Holiday Club, aimed to provide inspiring, thought provoking activities that allow children to be creative and have fun with like-minded children.

Swindon Tuition Centre employs a range of specialist tutors who work with children both in term time and now during the holidays. The tutors selected for the holiday clubs are specialised in creative subjects such as art and drama. They are engaging and dedicated to their role in ensuring that children are healthy, happy and fulfilled individuals.

We are different from the conventional holiday clubs in that our focus is to expand the mind laterally; providing opportunities and inspiration for children to enhance their innate creativity. We collaborate with the children to jointly create our lesson plans, often providing the initial idea prompts. We foster child-led practice where they take the lead in directing their own art pieces, games and performances.

COVID 19
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
•Minimising contact with individuals who are unwell by ensuring that those who have coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms, or who have someone in their household who does, do not attend the Holiday Club.

•Staff and children will be expected to clean their hands more often than usual - wash hands thoroughly for 20 seconds with running water and soap and dry them thoroughly or use alcohol hand rub or sanitiser ensuring that all parts of the hands are covered.

•Where possible staff will encourage children to keep two metres apart but if this is not deemed possible, staff will encourage a social distance of 'one metre plus'.

•Staff will ensure their own and encourage children to have good respiratory hygiene by promoting the ‘catch it, bin it, kill it’ approach.

•Holiday club staff will be regularly cleaning frequently touched surfaces often using standard products, such as detergents and bleach to be used by external cleaners.

•Minimising contact and mixing by altering, as much as possible, the environment (such as classroom layout) and timetables e.g. 3 day minimum booking.

•If a child, young person or other learner becomes unwell with symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) while in their setting and needs direct personal care until they can return home. A fluid-resistant surgical face mask should be worn by the supervising adult if a distance of 2 metres cannot be maintained. If contact with the child or young person is necessary, then disposable gloves, a disposable apron and a fluid-resistant surgical face mask should be worn by the supervising adult. If a risk assessment determines that there is a risk of splashing to the eyes, for example from coughing, spitting, or vomiting, then eye protection should also be worn.

•We cannot admit clinically extremely vulnerable children who have been advised to continue shielding.
